Maple Holistics | Review and International Giveaway!

Hello everyone!

Sorry I've not posted in a while, I've got a new job and it's taking all of my free time up!! Will explain more about this in a later post :) Today however, I need to draw your attention to a pretty awesome USA based brand called Maple Holistics.

As I live in the UK, I'd not heard of this brand before until the lovely Rachel contacted me about some products and a chance for a giveaway for you all, so you can try some of their products too! I looked at their website - www.mapleholistics.com/ - and there are so many awesome products on offer, and they each have their own benefits. The brand has one goal in mind: 'To provide a natural, holistic range of premium products which can enhance hygiene, health and daily living.' - Isn't that a pretty good goal to follow??

Rachel kindly sent me two of their hair care products - a shampoo and conditioner. I chose the Dandruff Sage Shampoo* and the Winter Blend Conditioner*.

Dandruff Sage Shampoo* $17.95

First off, the bottle is so pretty! As you might know, I love purple! This is the 8oz version, but also comes in a 16oz bottle too. The bottle has a small flip lid so you can squeeze the product out and it smells so good, and reminds me of being in a hair salon. On the bottle it states you should use a small amount of product on wet hair and leave for a few minutes before rinsing.

I found that the product was quite thick, which compared to my other thinner shampoos, I couldn't tell how much I would need - I have lots of hair! I done just over double of how much was recommended on the bottle, and found this worked well for me. Considering I'd spent the day before at work with a hat on all day, my hair was in need of a good wash, so I hoped this would work. It was easy to work into the hair and began to foam up quite quickly which I was happy with. I only left it in my hair for about a minute before rinsing, but I could feel my hair felt cleaner already.

Winter Blend Conditioner* $13.95

The bottle is again beautiful, such a nice shade of blue! This is again, the 8oz version, but also comes in a 16oz bottle. It also has a small flip lid so you can squeeze the product out and it smells so minty due to the five mint varieties in the formula, giving it a really cool feeling when washing your hair. This didn't have any 'instructions' like the Sage Shampoo, so I used it as normal!

I found that the smell of this is twice as good when using it! I love the smell of mint anyway, and it's nice for the scent to linger on the hair even after washing it back off. The combination of sage and mint from both products is a little weird, but after a while all I could smell was the mint when it was dry.

My hair feels so soft and light after using both of these, and I'm very tempted to order some for myself in bigger versions as I know I'll use these up pretty quickly!! I'd like to try the Winter Blend Shampoo as well with this conditioner to see how minty I'll smell afterwards :)

**All of this is thanks to Maple Holistics and their blogger connections are being sponsored by edumuch.com, as well as the giveaway campaign you can find at the bottom of this post :) So go check them out!
