Wishlist #18

So I've not done a wishlist since the end of March. MARCH!! I'm due another one don't you think? As Christmas is coming up, these are some things I'd either like for gifts or just treats for myself!

I can't lie - I blew my budget and then some at Comic Con in October. Unlike last year, I went a bit mad and I bought everything I wanted (and Cameron treated me so some stuff too) but alas, it's time for me to share my shame! Here's my haul of goodies from the Expo!

I also half bought a game of Risk with Cameron, as it was so expensive, we split it! There were a few other items I purchased but not pictured as they were for my sister and one is a Christmas gift for her, so I can't share!! I'm so happy with everything I picked up and now I need to find homes for them all!

Calvin Klein Merlot Eye Shadow

I love eye shadows more than any other beauty product. It was the first thing I ever tried to use makeup-wise when I was a teenager. Granted back then it was just a smear of blue all over the eyes from some cheap gift set I'd picked up! However, now with money of my own and some makeup savvy, I know which colours work with my eyes and which ones need to stay the hell away from.

This little number from Calvin Klein is so pretty! I have this mono shadow in a few copper shades, but this one is a nice dark purple and I love it. I picked this up from Fragrance Direct for £1.99. Can't complain about that price tag - considering it retails at nearly £14 usually!

I wore it for the first time the other day, and I was really impressed with it. It's not as dark on the eyelids as it is in the palette, so it would take a little building up to get that strong colour, but a few dustings of this worked a treat for me. It's really pigmented and not crumbly like some eye shadows, so this is going to last a while.

It has a subtle shimmer to it, so can be worn for either day or night and with more applications, you could go for a a really vampy look. This isn't normally a shade I'd go for in Autumn, but it's just so pretty that I can't resist it!

My October 2015

Hello everyone!

Tenth month of the new year to look back at! Here is just a little recap of my October! :) Hope you like this little overview!

I managed to go the whole month without a single panic attack!!
Had to see the dentist - my teeth are perfect
My blog hit 2 years old!
Mum's en-suite is almost built at her house and it looks so pretty!!
Had a night out with Nicola and we looked back at our old pictures from the past 6 years
Spent an entire shift at work sorting out three days of Deli deliveries in the chiller! Didn't get it all done, but it looked so much tidier
The new line of snacks started at Morrisons, so spent a majority of my month making the new salad posts and baguettes. I'M SICK OF THE SIGHT OF THEM!!
Managed to get my blog back to a good standing and gave it a makeover
Spent a week trying to sort out Comic Con outfits and makeup - it took ages!!
Started editing my book I wrote back in 2010 and it's already sounding so much better
COMIC CON
We bought so much at comic con that it's taken two days to sort it all out! We got to meet the HillyWood show girls and the Con was so good. NEED TO GO BACK.
My sister Ash came back from Uni for a few days, so we spent a day watching films and playing board games!
Played some of the new board games we got from Comic Con
Had a pretty decent payday and I'm now in saving mode!
TV I've watched: Firefly, Arrow, Supernatural, Big Bang Theory, Scandal, HTGAWM
Films I've watched: Transformers 2, Ocean's 11, Johnny English, Johnny English: Reborn, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Jurassic World (twice!!)
What I've been reading: Girl Online: On Tour

We met Hilly and Hannah from the HillyWood Show!!!!! I was cosplaying as Harley Quinn
