Jack's Christening

Hello everyone!

On Sunday I had the day off work so I could attend my nephew Jack's Christening! Jack's dad Simon, is my mum's partner's son, so me and my sister call him our brother! On the day of the Christening, it was also Simon and his wife Sarah's 1st wedding anniversary which we were also celebrating. It was such a beautiful day and I wanted to share some of my pictures with you all.

This is the cake that Sarah made and it looked amazing! It was chocolate marble cake inside which is one of my favorites!
On the left are the parents and godparents | On the right is Jack before he was baptised
He was such a good boy and he never cried once the whole time he was being baptised!
Jack with his Aunty Sarah (Simon's sister) and with Emily! Doesn't he look so cute in his outfit?
We had a BBQ for food and it was so yummy! | The teddy was given to him at the Church and I had an empty Smirnoff bottle... I was being creative in my slightly drunken stupor!
Ash and Simon having a pose | Husband and Wife!
Simon, Ash and me | And then us again with Sarah taking the picture!
It was such a nice day and though a little breezy, it was perfect weather for it. It was also nice to see some of Simon and Sarah's family who I'd not seen since their wedding a year ago. Jack was so well behaved all day and we got to have some cuddles with him which was so nice! Hope you enjoyed this little post of the day. Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Exfoliating Pads | Review

Hello everyone!

When I was in Cornwall, I went a little overboard and bought A LOT of beauty products. So there are going to be a lot of posts on beauty over the next few weeks! One of the products I picked up is this Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Exfoliating Pads in Boots. I picked this up for £4.99 and was on offer in a 3 for 2 in the range.

I love these. I've used this every other day just for a freshen up or first thing of a morning if I feel I need it. They leave my face feeling really soft and smooth, and the tea tree smell isn't overpowering at all. In fact, this is just as good as my Nivea Scrub and I love that. There are 60 in this pot and I've used at least 12 by now, so this is something I will definitely be repurchasing when I get low on them.

I picked up a few other bits from the tea tree and witch hazel range, so keep an eye out for them! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

Cornwall Holiday Diary, Day Seven

Hello everyone!

Day Seven: Today we went to Bodmin Jail, which I've never been to before, but my three amigos went last year. It is literally just an old jail that has been turned into an attraction. Basically it's a museum. There are 6 levels to explore of the jail, some of which were underground and bit eerie! After the jail experience, we hit up Fryer Tucks for a lunch/dinner before me, Ash and Dad headed down to the beach for a cave exploration and I got to go on part of Porthcothan that I've never been on before!

You can watch the vlog for this day HERE.

OOTD | The admissions board leading into the jail
Ash and Grandad in the stocks
Dad and me in the stocks
We locked Dad in one of the old cells and then sent Ash into another one. Don't they both look so guilty??
Dinner at Fryer Tucks | Picture of the cave we climbed out of and down before reaching our rocky beach destination
Dad and sister in the rain on the opposite side of the cliff face |  Lollipop team!!
It was nice to get to see someone in Cornwall that we hadn't been to before. The weather wasn't amazing, and we got a bit went on our beach excursion, but was worth it just to see this 'new' part of the beach. Definitely took too many scenery pictures of that area! Hope you enjoyed this snippet of the holiday! Keep safe :)
