I Finally Got An Urban Decay Naked Palette

I have the palette that I've lusted after ever since I started this little blog of mine! (which has been 3 years as of the 3rd of this month!) I saw hundreds of reviews, swatches, insta pics and reviews on YouTube. I loved all the shades - and lets face it, who doesn't like a neutral shade?

So here is my brief review of the beauty, as I've only used it a few times out of pure fear of blemishing it.

I don't know where Cameron bought this from, but you can find it at Debenhams, FeelUnique or House of Fraser!

I adore Smog, Toasted and Gunmetal the most of all of these shades! I think I'll use all of these shades, apart from Creep, as it's just a little too dark for me! I'll still try and work some look with it, but not sure what right now. I've found that it's all super pigmented, and doesn't take much to build up a good coverage and a bold colour. I like that it's not flaky, crumbly or too shimmery - it's just perfect.

Like Goldilocks and her porridge...

I also had no idea that the casing was velvet, and I am now super conscious about touching it with dirty hands!

The palette also came with a freebie of 4 primer samples! I'm not sure I'll use these, but it's nice that you get a little tester with the palette! And I was vigilant that I had said freebie, after reading Corinne's post on Skinnedcartree about her fake Naked Palette!

Have you tried this palette or anything else from urban Decay? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

Marvel Universe: Live - London Trip!

At the end of September, Cam and I, want to see Marvel Universe: LIVE at the O2 center in London. It's a stunt show featuring a dozen of the superheros and villains of the Marvel world, and all performed on a big stage! There's a whole plot where Loki is after the tesseract, and the heroes are trying to stop him. There were lots of bike stunts, fight scenes - and at one point, one of the characters was on fire!

It's quite surreal to see a stunt guy strutting about in character while he is literally on fire.

Amazing.

We planned this trip back in March, so I was so excited to finally get to go! We stayed at the Premier Inn Hotel at the Docklands, by the Excel center, so only a few trains and tube trips to get about, which wasn't bad!

Anyway, here are some of the pictures I wanted to share with you all from our trip! Including our journey there, the hotel room and the view - along with our first time on the Emirates cable car, and the show it's self! And if pictures aren't your jam, then you can skip down to the bottom of this post to see the vlog I whacked together for you!

The most expensive candyfloss known to man

View from seats 57 & 58, Row R, Block 102!

Here's the vlog of our trip! Hope you enjoy.

Are you a Marvel fan? And would this have been something you'd have like to see? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

Wishlist 28

I'm quite loving online shopping and the convenience of it, now that I'm working full time! Even though I'm in saving mode for a holiday and Comic Con, it's not stopped me adding things to my wishlists and the occasional shopping spree, albeit small ones!! Here are few of the things I really want to get when I get paid next month!

Like any of the above items? And what's on your wishlist this month? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

Monthly Favourites #18 - September

First of all, thank you all for the lovely comments on me taking a blogging break! I've had two weeks off and it's been quite nice to having to worry about the blog while work was getting hectic!❤️ Sooo...

It's that time of the month where I look back and share some of my fave things with you! Ranging from songs, TV and movies, to my new Bullet Journal section!

Song
I've love this song, the video and the innuendo it brings up. Pun intended.
It's a really good song to have a dance to while doing housework, and is super catchy! I've been humming this while at work, and it's the fave for the month!

Picture
My favourite picture from this month has to be this one of me and Nic, while we were out celebrating my 24th birthday! We had a really good night, and there are a lot of other pictures for the evening! And I'm even wearing my birthday badge!

TV Show
I have loved this show since I caught an episode of season three on TV, and was hooked. I went back and watched them all and haven't missed an episode yet! I love all of the characters and it's still an all time fave!
The new season has just started, and already there are plenty of LOL moments, and waiting on the 'new member' of the group to arrive!

Movie
I went to see Spy last June, for one of the last showings at my cinema. I'd wanted to see it since it came out and I was not disappointed. This was, and still is, hilarious. McCarthy and Statham are two of my fave actors and they blew this out of the park. Now I have the DVD, I can rewatch this as often as I want, and is a perfect movie to make you laugh, while still having all the elements of an action/spy thriller!

Bullet Journal
So for my new, 'Bullet Journal Fave Page' section, I've selected this one of my 'Yearly Emotions' tracker. I'm not so happy with how I've decorated this, nor the colour scheme, but it's okay until I get my new journal!
So far, there are very few blue squares and only 2 dark blue ones - which indicate a panic attack! Really happy to see so many red and green spaces too, as I've been working on trying to be more positive recently, and this has been nice to look back on.

Hope you enjoyed these faves for September! What have you loved this month from each category? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe!
