The Range Haul | My Life

Hello everyone!

A shop near me is The Range. It is a huge home goods store, along with a lot of garden furniture, pet equipment, lighting, home decor and stationary. Basically, the store is huge and I love it. My bedroom isn't the biggest of places, but I keep buying things! So much for my spending ban...

However, the other day I decided to go in on a mission to find some makeup storage. As much as I want two storage items from Muji, it's not not going to happen anytime soon. So this is what I picked up on my little trip!

This is what I ended up choosing for my makeup! I bought a large desk tidy/paper holder a few weeks ago and it's being used for all my stationary and paper filing. These were the other parts of the same range and material (metal mesh) and I thought they were perfect! When I got them home, I found them to be my best idea of the year.
The drawers for £4.99 are now home to my foundations, powders, eye shadows and mini pallettes.
The 'pen' desk tidy for £2.99 is now my main brush holder, mascara, concealers, eye pencils and blemish sticks storage. It's all out ready for me to grab quickly and has made finding things so much easier! The little tray and the front holds a few bobby pins and clear elastics for my hair.
The large pot for £1.99 is ready for all my nail brushes when they arrive this week. I didn't want my nail tools and makeup brushes all in the same container, so this was purchased!

Fairy lights. I've been after some pretty ones to wrap around my bed frame for a while now, and then I saw these. I have a purple room and these are a pinky/purple colour. The flowers a bendy, so shouldn't break hopefully! Though, saying that, once I wrapped them around my bed back home, one of the wires had snapped in my wrapping haste, so GENTLE next time Tania! These were £3.99 and I would definitely buy these again. These also come in white.

My last two items are a second Memory Box for £1.99 and these A4 folders for £1. My first Memory box is fit to burst, so I've got this brand new one in the same colour and design for all the new memories and little bits and pieces! The folders are nothing special, but I needed them for my online shopping receipts along with some work documents!

So there we have all of the last shop! I've bought a few more bits since then, but nothing of any significance that deserves a blog post! What do you think of my storage idea? What do you use for storing your products? Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

The Memory Box | Part 2

Hello everyone!

The other day during a mass bedroom clean, I found my old memory box! It used to be all in an old camera box, but I've since bought a nice one from the Range and while sorting through it all, I took pictures of everything. Here's the second part of three installments of my memory lane trip!

Find Part One >Here< Hope you enjoy this as there is a lot of things within! Be prepared for lots of pictures!

Left: A range of some key rings I've kept from Cornwall and London!
Right: My friend Jodie won this in a 2p machine a few years ago and she let me have it!

Left: All from 2001! The Magic Kingdom in Florida's park map, a Kennedy Space Centre pencil, some playing cards, and the book I made of all the places we went! It was such an amazing holiday.
Right: My auto graph book! Not used it much!

Top: Mickey Mouse, Princess Amora & Simbad, Shish Kabob (all three from the Eighth Voyage of Simbad show)
Bottom: Johnny Fire Demon, Decaying Demon Chris (both from Eighth Voyage of Simbad show) and finally, DOUGIE FROM MCFLY.

Left: The back of the bookmark
Right: Front of the boomark! We made these in primary school to celebrate the millennium!

Above: The pictures with the child in are all my cousin Shannon since she was a toddler! I'm in the bottom right one with her, and above that is me and my sister Ash!

Asda Living Haul | Fashion

Hello everyone!

I keep ending up in Asda Living recently, and though I have bought tons more than what I have here, this is the latest haul! A very small one compared to other trips to the shop! Hope you like something I picked up :)

These printed shorts are not me at all, but I still bought them! Once I tried them on, I fell in love - so comfortable and not tight! They can be worn on the hips or waist. These were £8.

This top caught my eye due to how bright it is (the camera doesn't do the neon shade justice.) I'm not usually a yellow clothing person, so I saw a pink one and picked that up, but ended up getting this one as it's just so bright! The printed panel on the front layers over the longer part and was £6.

Pajamas! I only bought a new set the other day in Primark, but these ones are so cute! For £10, they are a bargain to me. The top is quite thick, but with no sleeves and shorts, this is perfect for summer.

Again, another item I would never usually pick up. I was in a mood for new things on this trip, so when I saw these in the jewelry section for only £3 I decided to get them. I actually really like them now I've seen what I look like in them. I'm more of a stud girl when it comes to earrings, but I've been trying to find some different types that aren't to heavy! These are perfect!

Along with these, I also bought the DVD of 'Now You See Me', which was £5! Really happy with what I picked up, so hopefully these will all come of use in the summer time! Hope you are all having a great day and keep safe :)

The Memory Box | Part 1

Hello everyone!

The other day during a mass bedroom clean, I found my old memory box! It used to be all in an old camera box, but I've since bought a nice one from the Range and while sorting through it all, I took pictures of everything. Here's the first part of three installments of my memory lane trip!

Hope you enjoy this as there is a lot of things within! Be prepared for lots of pictures!

First up, the amazing memory box! I've since gone and bought a second one as this is now full up!

Left: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat musical program. We went to see this in York in 2001 I believe! I remember loving it and even now, it is still one of my faves.
Right: After a holiday to Great Yarmouth with some family friends, I made this booklet of some of the funny pictures from the trip!

Left: When I left my Junior School in June/July 2004, all of our year group received one of these.
Right: Abbie's note that was in my first ever box swap!

Left: Photobooth stickers! I remember being 13 and seeing these machines in Tammy and spending almost £50 in one month on them with my friends! I used them all up, however while on holiday in Cornwall, my family and our friends found one, and we use it each year! These are from 2007 and onwards!
Right: My 21st birthday badge off the card Dad gave me, and some of the confetti I managed to keep hold of!

Left: Memory sticks - Take a popsicle stick and write a memory on each side of it! I haven't made any more since about 2005, but there are some pretty good ones on these!
Right: My first tax disc!

Left: When my cousin Shannon was Christened, her mum (my aunt) bought all four of her nieces one of these necklaces.
Right: The little silver pendant. I've never worn it as I'm scared I'll break it!

Left: My 2nd birthday present! Mum and Dad got this book printed for me! It's a story about how on my birthday I have to go on a quest to find my birthday stone which was stolen by a dragon so I can help some fairies restore the rainbow!
Right: My legoland medal from our first trip there. The green frog on the far right is very special to me. While waiting in the line to go into Windsor Castle, a husband and wife couple from China were in front of us and had been talking to Mum & Dad. My sister was asleep in her pram and I was about 6 years old, so they had spoken to the parents and me for a second, before the woman reached into her purse and pulled this out. She asked Mum if she could give this to me and then take a picture of me, as she'd not seen 'such a pretty girl with green eyes' before as back in their country, their eyes are darker. Mum agree, and I've kept this ever since. That amazing woman is the reason why I've never had many body/appearance issues.

Left: A thank you message, a wedding favour and the wedding invite for Simon & Sarah's wedding!
Right: This is the wrist band that was on me the day I was born! Never got rid of it!

Left: A plethora of cinema tickets. (Top let to the bottom: Depsicable Me 2, Deathly Hallows Part 2, Johnny English 2, Iron Man 3, The Hunger Games, Journey to Mysterious Island 2, Mamma Mia!)
Right: A range of the train tickets I've got from 2011 to 2013!

Hope you liked this first part of my memory box! Do you have a memory box at all? Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)
