The Jewellery Trends to Watch in 2025

Jewellery is one of those things that never really goes out of style - it just evolves! And 2025 is shaping up to be all about personalisation, meaning, and a little bit of extra sparkle. Gone are the days of grabbing whatever is ‘on trend’; now, people are looking for pieces that actually mean something, whether it’s a custom-engraved necklace, a symbolic gemstone, or a timeless investment piece that will last a lifetime.

With social media making it easier than ever to find unique jewellery gifts, there’s no excuse for uninspired presents! Whether you’re treating yourself (because why not?) or shopping for a loved one, here are some of the biggest jewellery trends for 2025 that make perfect gifts.

Piercings: The More, the Merrier!

The piercing trend is still going strong, and 2025 is all about curated ear stacks, dainty studs, and tiny hoops. Whether it’s a second or third lobe piercing, a helix hoop, or a dainty opal belly button ring, there’s something for everyone. The best part? These are small but meaningful gifts that let the recipient express their personal style. Plus, with so many gorgeous designs available, it’s never been easier to mix and match for a unique look.

Bracelet Watches: Style Meets Function

If there’s one thing that never goes out of style, it’s a classic timepiece. But in 2025, bracelet watches are making a serious comeback. Think elegant metal straps, delicate links, and a touch of sparkle. Whether for everyday wear or a special occasion, a beautiful bracelet watch is both a stylish and practical gift. Bonus points if you get it engraved with a meaningful message!

Crystal Rings: A Little Magic on Your Finger

Crystals are more than just beautiful - they carry meaning, energy, and a sense of magic. That’s why crystal rings are set to be huge this year. Whether it’s a rose quartz ring for love, an amethyst for calm vibes, or a citrine for positivity, these rings make for thoughtful and personal gifts. They’re perfect for stacking or wearing solo, and they add an ethereal touch to any outfit.

Gold Diamond Rings: Classic & Timeless

If you’re looking for a gift that’s an instant heirloom, you can’t go wrong with a gold diamond ring. Whether it’s a delicate solitaire, a vintage-inspired band, or a bold statement piece, these rings are more than just accessories - they’re investments in timeless beauty. And the best part? They can be engraved with initials, dates, or even a personal message, making them even more special.

Layered Necklaces: Mix, Match & Personalise

Why wear one necklace when you can wear three? Layering delicate chains with charms, initials, and symbolic pendants is a huge trend right now, and it’s set to continue well into 2025. This is a great gift idea because you can personalise it to suit someone’s style, birthstone, or favourite symbols. Plus, they can mix and match pieces for a look that’s all their own.

Final Thoughts

Jewellery trends are always changing, but the focus for 2025 is clear - personalised, meaningful, and timeless pieces that hold sentimental value. Whether you’re shopping for a birthday, an anniversary, or just because, there’s a perfect piece out there for everyone. And let’s be honest, a little extra sparkle never hurt anyone!

Are any of these trends calling your name? Let me know in the comments!

6 Rules for Clothing Shopping You Need to Know

Let’s be honest - shopping for new clothes can be a mix of excitement and regret.

One minute you’re convinced you’ve found the perfect outfit, and the next, you’re wondering why you ever thought neon yellow was your colour. (Spoiler: It probably isn’t.) To save you from fashion disasters and impulse-buy regrets, here are six golden rules to follow when shopping for new clothes.

1. Know Your Body Shape (And Dress for It!)

Not every trend is made for every body, and that’s absolutely fine. The key to looking effortlessly stylish is understanding what works for your shape. If you’re not sure, ask a brutally honest friend or try on different silhouettes to see what flatters you best. Baggy clothes may feel comfy, but if they drown your shape, they aren’t doing you any favours. Likewise, super-tight clothing might not be the most practical choice if you value breathing.

2. Quality Over Quantity – Always!

It’s so easy to get lured in by fast fashion prices, but let’s be real - some of those pieces won’t survive a single wash. Instead of stuffing your wardrobe with cheap, flimsy clothing, invest in well-made staples. High-quality fabric and good stitching go a long way in keeping your clothes looking fresh and lasting longer. A little extra cost upfront can save you loads in the long run.

3. Will You Actually Wear It? Be Honest!

That sequined dress looks stunning in the changing room, but unless you’ve got an endless supply of glamorous events to attend, it’s likely to collect dust in your wardrobe. When buying clothes, ask yourself: Where will I wear this? How often? If you can’t think of at least three different occasions, maybe leave it on the rack.

4. Experiment with Styles (But Know Your Limits)

Fashion is meant to be fun, so don’t be afraid to try new things! That being said, not every trend is worth diving into headfirst. If you’re unsure about a bold pattern or a risky colour, start small - maybe a scarf or accessories instead of a full outfit. There’s a fine line between fashion-forward and fashion-what-was-I-thinking?

5. When in Doubt, Go for Neutrals

If you’re standing in a shop paralysed by choice, neutrals will never let you down. Black, grey, white, navy, and beige are versatile and effortlessly stylish. They also make mixing and matching a breeze, meaning you get more outfits out of fewer pieces. Once you’ve nailed the neutrals, then you can throw in some statement colours.

6. Accessories Make Everything Better

A good outfit can become a great outfit with the right accessories. Whether it’s a classic watch, a statement necklace, or even a funky pair of shoes, the little details can make a huge difference. Plus, accessories are an easy (and often cheaper) way to refresh your wardrobe without needing a full overhaul.

Final Thoughts

Clothes shopping should be a fun experience, not a stressful one. Keep these rules in mind, and you’ll be making smarter, more confident fashion choices in no time.

So, what’s your go-to shopping rule? Let me know in the comments - I need to know I’m not the only one with a wardrobe full of ‘what was I thinking’ purchases! 😂

Tips For Achieving Your Dream Hair*

Achieving your dream hair is easier than you might think. If you lack good care for your hair, then you will quickly notice that your hair deteriorates. However, the right care will see your hair grow longer, quicker, and healthier. Here is everything you need to know for achieving your dream hair.

Use extensions

If your dream hair goal is to have long hair but your hair doesn’t seem to grow, then the best solution is to use extensions. Although these won’t offer a permanent answer, it means you can wear your hair long or natural whenever you feel like it.

Using tape hair extensions, you can easily achieve your desired look in minutes. You can have long hair in no time and use these as a way to be patient with your hair growth.

Take more time styling it

Being lazy with your hair will likely lead to you not being totally happy with your hair. Whether you want to wear your hair wavy or have straight hair, it will help if you take your time to style it.

Taking your time with your hair will help you get the right style and ensure that you take good care of it. Using your time using tools or brushing will help you achieve your desired look.

Patience is key and in time the more practice you have with styling your hair, the happier you will be with the results.

Get regular trims

Although it might seem like you are doing the wrong thing, trimming your hair is actually doing the right thing when it comes to achieving your dream hair. Without regular trims, your hair will likely become dry and brittle.

Regular trims wil freshen up your hair and make it feel nice and lightweight again. It will also be much easier to style and feel confident in too.

Have a good hair care routine

Being lazy with your hair care will leave you with hair that isn’t your dream hair. With the right products, you can bring your hair back to life and start to love your hair again. Plus, the right products will maintain its health and help it grow.

In your routine, you should always shampoo. Shampooing twice can leave you with that salon feel. Then, use conditioner every other wash to add moisture and shine.

Then, once a week, use a mask to give your hair a surge of moisture and hydration. This will help to nourish the roots and help them achieve optimal health.

Avoid too much heat

Although you might enjoy styling your hair, using too much heat can damage it in the long term. If you can, avoid using too much heat. Using it once a week or twice once you have washed your hair is enough and if you take your time to style it, hopefully, the results will last.

When you do use heat, ensure to use a heat protection spray to prevent it from becoming too damaged.

Shock. Horror. A Christmas post!

It's the middle of November, and I'm about to give you a stocking filler gift idea post! I think Superdrug, Find Me A Gift, and Jewellery Box UK, are all fab for this kind of mini gift, so all of the below items can be found via their site, or in stores.

Disney Rings

When I went to Disney World last year, I bought way too many goodies, but one thing I picked up a few of, were rings. I love rings - they're one of my fave jewellery items, and what better way to show off some Disney love?

They're all simple silver ones, that all have some Disney reference. Even the Star Wars one, which Disney now own!

These are the four I picked up during my holiday.

  • Princess Tiara
  • September Birthstone
  • Mickey Mouse Diamond
  • Star Wars: May The Force Be With You, rotating band

My fave is the fake diamond Mickey Mouse ring. It's pretty huge, and sooo sparkly! My sister has the same one, but the smaller version. Plus, the Star Wars ring rotates, so you can spin the quote around. I wear it as a thumb ring - which has been a blessing in an anxiety attack. Honestly, I could have spend all my savings buying the variety of the rings they had on offer.

What ring of the above is your favourite? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

My Top 5 Clothes Stores

I have a serious shopping problem. I'm always buying new clothes, and I rarely need new ones, but ALL THE PRETTY THINGS! I've got a lot better over the last year with my new clothes habit, but that doesn't stop me looking online or in store at new goodies I want to get my hands on. These are in no order in particular, but these are all my current faves!

Primark
I still can't believe they don't have an online store yet... Anyway this is my go-to for basics and cheap items. I've recently bought some new dresses from here, which I love. I mainly come in here now for shoes, bags, and any clothing with Disney or Harry Potter on it! Primark are really good at stocking geeky tees, so this is where a lot of my money goes.

Yours Clothing
The wonderful plus sized store, which actually does tops that fit my big ole chest, but actually fits elsewhere. I've spent so much in this store over the last couple of years. There is always a good sale online, so I've always after a bargain! I've got some really beautiful dresses and tops from here.

Peacocks
This is my go-to for lingerie and jeans. Primark jeans only last a few months for me, so the Peacocks ones are a higher quality and will last a good year at least. #ThiccThighs
They stock lovely DD+ bras which have a good long life on them too.

Select
I struggle to find tops in here, but they always have a plethora of dresses that I adore and I've had a few maxi and skater dresses from here over the years. I love their shoes as well, plus their accessories section. This is one of my fave places to come to get a new handbag or heels.

Everything5Pounds
An online only shop, this is a place end-of-line items come to get sold for £5. There's new releases everyday, and I've managed to get some really nice shoes and tops from here over the last 10 years. I don't come on here as often as I once did, but it's still a good shop to come and look at if you're after a little bargain or some quirky shoes or bags.

What are your fave clothes stores? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

Disney Look Book Round Up!

Back at the start of 2017, I had the idea to create a set of Disney Inspired Look Books - featuring the Princesses we all know and love from the movies, in the run up to my Florida holiday last September. It only took me about 9 months to do them all, but now they're all over and done with, here is a round up of all the look books, so you can go back and check them out!

  1. Snow White
  2. Cinderella
  3. Aurora
  4. Ariel
  5. Belle
  6. Jasmine
  7. Pocahontas
  8. Mulan
  9. Tiana
  10. Rapunzel
  11. Merida
  12. Anna
  13. Elsa
  14. Moana
  15. Minnie Mouse
All of the items were available at time of creating the posts, so some items may have sold out if you're after them!

I think my faves have to be Pocahintas and Merida's as I would wear the entire outfits! What ones are your faves? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)
