Last Minute Party

Okay so yesterday I blogged and vlogged loads earlier than usual so I kind of lied and said I was relaxing yesterday. I ended up going to a party I had originally declined to attend, but as my schedule cleared up for the night, I debated for half an hour on going or not.

Eventually after some persuading Mum to take me there, I was on my way!

My friends Billy and Rob persuaded me to go and, BAM there I was, 40 minutes later at Michael's party. Trying to find the location was a little hard as it was in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by fields as it was at their home with a sort or barn attached - there was even 2 huge ponds (also called the lakes by some of us). There were even lambs there! I was covered in hay by the time I got back home. It's now all over my bedroom floor :) I'm glad I went as I had loads of fun and took many pictures! Here are just a few of them:

Katie and Helen in the boat

Rob in the boat
Amy very drunk on the floor
We had lots of fun. All I can say is alcohol and boats are not the smartest idea ever especially in the dark! Michael's parents even cooked a whole roast dinner for all of us party people, and there were at least 40 of us at the peak of the party. I arrived about an hour into the party and people arrived after me, so by the time everyone was there, we had all split off into groups- the barn group, kitchen group, deck group and then there were about 3 different lake groups.

Eventually we kind of all mixed around with each other and then people started leaving as it got later into the evening. I left about two hours before the party finished, but by then there were only about 20-ish people left in all the locations!

And that was it! So glad I went, and got to hang out with all my friends - lots of good memories from this adventure!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1

~*~I solemnly swear that I am up to no good~*~

I HAVE FINALLY SEEN THIS MOVIE!!!

I am a huge fan of the series, but I really don't like the cinema, so I decided I'd wait until DVD release day to see it. So I watched it yesterday for the first time.

I LOVED IT!

It was fab and, as I got the 2-disc version, the special features had some deleted scenes, so they did actually film a few scenes that were cut from the film - which would have made some parts a little easier to understand. If you've not read the books it won't make hardly any sense. Like how/why Bathilda Bagshot is actually Nagini in a meat suit, or how the Snatchers found the trio after they left the Lovegood household. If you haven't read the books you are missing out!!!

I can't wait for the next one to be released, but I might brave the cinema for the final part of my fave book/film series. I still remember going to see Philosopher's Stone in 2001 after reading the first two books. It was the best film I had ever seen.

Fast forward 10 years and I'm anticipating the final film. I want to see it, but at the same time it's the end of a decade of Potter and there won't be a date next year for me to get excited about.

J.K.Rowling I love you. Thanks for an amazing series and for allowing them to do a film series.
