The Netflix Tag

Hello everyone!

Yes, I've changed my blog layout and colours again. I like to change it up now and again just so I have more motivation! Anyway, onto the post...

I saw this tag on the lovely Faye's blog Faye Olivia earlier this week, and just had to give it a go! I've only had Netflix for less than two months - thank you to my sibling for letting me share with her - so I'm still new! Here it goes!

1. What are you favourite series' to watch on Netflix?
Miranda, Top Gear, Fawlty Towers, OITNB

2. What are you currently watching on Netflix?
Currently re-watching a bunch of Top Gear episodes and also a film called '10 Rules for Sleeping Around' as I'm going through a Virgina Williams phase right now!

3. If you could have any series, old or new put on Netflix, what would it be?
I'd love for all of Grey's Anatomy and Supernatural to be on there! Would save me the trouble of finding the box sets all the time!

4. What is your one peeve about Netflix?
The search section. I cannot navigate the sections for the life of me, so I tend to be watching whatever is recommended to me!

5. What are your essentials for a perfect night in with Netflix?
Laid on my bed with chocolate and in my PJ's!

6. Recommend one series or film for someone else.
Miranda. You will NEVER regret watching this TS show as it is a total gem and bloody hilarious. As for films, Blackfish or Revenge of the Bridesmaids!

Hope you liked this, and give it a try yourself! Let me know if you do it too, so I can be nosey and take a peek! Have a great day and keep safe :)

Collection Big Fake Curves Mascara | Review

Hello everyone!

Firstly, sorry that this is only the second beauty post of the year! I've been waiting for a semi-decent day of sunshine to take some new pictures, and the day finally came yesterday! Be prepared for a heap I have for you... Now onto the post!

A new mascara that I've been trying recently is the Big Fake Curves Mascara from Collection. I'm a huge fan of the brand, so I'm constantly picking up their products and ones that I've never tried before. You can get this in Boots for £3.99.

The packaging is pretty basic and simple. It explains what it is and the desired effect you can get, along with a little 'blurb' about the mascara. I liked that it was a nice shaped tube and the pink caught my eye, which was why I picked it up.

The brush applicator... Well, where do I start? I hate it. It reminds me of a war mace I'm likely to see in The Hobbit movies, more than a spoolie for my mascara. It's just so chunky and I found it really hard to get an even look on my lashes, and parts didn't get any mascara on at all.

Overall, I'm really disappointed with this mascara and I don't really like it. It's too hard to navigate, and the brush is just awful in my opinion. It pains me to say so, as I totally adore Collection! I won't be buying it again, and I honestly, I don't recommend it either. If you want a good one from Collection, then their Extreme Coloured Lengthening mascara is perfect for you. You can read my review on that one here.

Have you tried this yourself, and what did you think? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

Fave Disney Movie - Tania Talks #4

Hello everyone!

Carrying on with the 'Tania Talks' posts, here is post number 3! Hope you are enjoying these so far :)

Ahh Disney! This is one of those wonderful things that I started becoming obsessed with back in December 2012 and I was going to Florida in April 2013. I mean it wasn't until about 2 months ago that I saw Frozen for the first time, and it had been out for a whole year! As for my fave Disney movie... I have two.

Mulan and Tangled.

The above part is my fave thing in the whole movie.
Mulan was released in 1998, so I was 6 years old, but I didn't see it until I was seven or eight years old - but as I grew up, I just loved it. I loved that a girl was kicking guys butts. She saves herself. She was strong and independent.
Even now it still really bugs me that there isn't a lot of merchandise of her, as she is such a good character. SHE'S A PRINCESS, DAMN IT!!

And Tangled. Oh this film. I didn't see this until about a year or so after it was released and didn't get what the fuss with this Flynn Rider guy was. But then I saw the film and I got it. He's literally the only sane person in all of Disney. BEST MALE CHARACTER.
My sister watched this with me, and she'd already seen it. Apparently my reaction to Flynn getting stabbed and her hair being cut off was hilarious.
I was a little traumatized for about five minutes.
I love the film, the characters and the little short film of the wedding that is on youtube!

What is your fave Disney film? Hope you're having a great day and keep safe :)

Hair Tales

Hello everyone!

Just a quick post today, as I'm feeling a bit rough! Didn't want to miss a day, so here is something I put together the other night!

On January 9th, I was going out to a friend's birthday dinner and decided to try something new with my hair. Yep, I tried to style it. I'm not really into my hair or anything. If it's washed and dried, I'm pretty happy. I have naturally straight hair, but I wanted to have some sort of wave effect for the night!

I end up with this!

But as I was finding the webcam picture folder on my laptop, I found a picture of me, a little over two years ago. After making the side by side image for you below, you can see such a change!

Look how long it's got! I've been wanting to grow it out for ages, and was a little convinced that it just wasn't. Boy, was I mistaken! It's a lot longer and healthier now that it was back then as well, and I love it!

What sort of styling do you do with your hair? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)
