Insta Love #9

Happy January lovelies! It's bloody cold out right now, so I'm curled up on my bed scrolling through Instagram and finding the pictures I saw over the last week that I wanted to add in this post to share with you! Hope you're having a great start to the new year :)

I'm obsessed with taking pictures, editing them and creating nice memories to look back on - hence why I love Instagram. There are some awesome accounts that I follow, plus the picture sharing app has gone insane with really talented photographers and bloggers who just seem to have this whole filter thing down and on fleek, as the kids are saying these days.

So today, I'm sharing some Insta love with my top 5 pictures/accounts that I've been loving this past month!

I've Got Chatty Feet!*

Winter has been a bit cruel this time round. It's been bitterly cold the past few months, and the amount of ice I've scraped off my car, could easily cover the Alps...

And when it's cold my feet and tootsies get super chilly! Well slippers and socks are the answer - but if going the sock route, I like to have something fun as the pattern. I enjoy a good festive print over Christmas, but afterwards, it feels a bit wrong to wear Reindeers on your feet!

So I bring you Chatty Feet! A wonderful sock company with designs for all, which also add a hint of fun!

And boy, do they deliver.

I was very kindly sent a couple of pairs to try out - Sandy and Yoko Mono! Each has a fun design, and on the back of the packaging is a little snippet about the socks and the character on them!

Sandy retails at £7.50 and Yoko Mono is for £7.50 as well. There are loads of designs available for men, women and children - so anyone can wear these.

I've worn each pair between now and Boxing day, and I've been so cosy in them! They're not super thick, which is perfect for me, as it means I can still wear my usual shoes without them feeling tight.

I love that they're both super bright designs and colours, and come up to about mid-calf, so also perfect for wearing with some of my boots.

Yes, they might be a little pricey for a pair of socks - but they're such good quality and the designs are quite amusing! So give them a try!

2017 Goals!

I have a few ideas of things I'd like to do and achieve by the end of the year - both personal and for my blog - which has had a fancy makeover for the new year! I like to think some (or most) of these are doable by the end of 2017. so let's see what I can do!

And if you have any goals for you or your blog, please feel free to share them! I'm not going to explain any of them this time, as I'd like to just leave this here as a list for me to check on, and also might be useful to anyone else looking to set themselves some goals.

Personal Goals

1. Read 4 books
2. Drive somewhere new
3. Go to the cinema 15 times
4. Start & uphold, the 52 Week Saving Challenge
5. Get into a better sleeping routine
6. Lose some weight/tone up 
7. Carry on with the job search/get a new job
8. Organise my room better
9. Get into a better skin care routine
10. Eat less junk food and more fruit
11. Be smarter with my money
12. Start and finish writing a book
13. Drink more water
14. Purge possessions!
15. Go out more often

Blog Goals

1. 1200 Bloglovin followers 
2. 5500 Twitter followers 
3. 1250 Instagram followers 
4. 400 YouTube subscribers 
5. 350 Facebook page likes 
6. 200,000 blog page views
7. Post 3 times each week
8. Allow myself 2 weeks off from blogging - twice this year
9. Start advertising on my blog again
10. Take bulk photos for posts more often

Happy New Year - 2017!

I am currently asleep, but that is the wonder of scheduling a blog post!! Thank you technology ;)

Today is the start of a New Year. A whole new 365 days are ahead of us. Will you change something in your life for the better? Have you made any resolutions? Are you currently out getting drunk? Or are you asleep like me?!!

Today my family will be round for the day as usual, so I'm in charge of dinner for them all, which means I'm taking most of the day off and away from the internet. I love this day every year.

I'll be sharing my resolutions with you soon, along with my 2017 goals! Lets hope this year is better than 2016...

Anyway, I hope you either enjoyed celebrating tonight, or have some fun in the morning with family and friends, but either way - hope you are all safe and well :)
