Erin Condren 18 Month Petite Planner

I am a huuuuge Erin Condren user. I have so many of their products, I'm sure I could open a shop of their stuff with my own collection! Regardless of all the planner community drama surrounding EC the person the past few weeks, I'm still using and sharing the products. I love them, they bring me peace, happiness, an organised mind, and also helps with anxiety.

Last year I picked up an 18 month petite planner, but for love nor money, I cannot find it anywhere and never got the chance to use it. However, this year I wanted another one. I want to actually try to use it without it going missing - or maybe I accidentally threw it out? So I popped over to the Erin Condren website, when the new releases went live a few months back, to see if they had one for July 2020 to December 2021.

And lo and behold they did!

The 18 month petite planner, is currently is selling for $14, which is about the normal price for a petite planner from the company. Don't forget if you're based in the UK like I am, you have to pay $24.95 for international shipping, and they even add on customs tax at the checkout, so you can get your products faster! I always try and do a big order so it warrants the prices.

I put some stickers on the first page to mark my name, and then you're straight into the planner. Up first is a July 2020 to December 2021 overview page with a mini calendar for each month. I've highlighted the weeks I'm off work this year already, and have faintly circled the week I'd like off in pencil. All just depends on what I can get off work, so the pencil is easy to move about.

From here, you go into all the monthly spreads. I've already customised my planner to Monday-Sunday instead of the EC standard of Sunday-Saturday monthly layouts. I use these petite date stickers from YourWorldOfColour, so it's more cohesive for me, as this is my working week. You can see how the original looks for September 2021 above. I'm just waiting on these stickers to arrive so I can finish changing it up until end of next December.

I had to white out all the holidays for that month as they were then on the wrong dates, but I can put them in when it's closer to the time in pen!

After all the monthly spreads, you then have 46 dot grid pages to do with what you wish. I had no idea what to do with them, but then had a random idea. I found these monthly sticker packs from Amazon UK, and went ahead with them. I have put a monthly sticker at the top of 18, 2-page spreads, so I can do monthly notes, YouTube video ideas, doodles, pre-plans, etc. After that was done, I still have 10 black dot grid pages to use up, but will figure out what to do with those later on.

At the very back page, is a 2022 yearly overview, which is so weird to be thinking about a year that is so far away! I'll probably start to use that this time next year, so I can start planning out some ideas for then. I also have a sticky note of the things I want to track through the next 18 months in the planner, so I can carry it around and it can be more useful.

Finally, at the very back of the petite planner, there is a page of stickers to go with the planner. I found my stickers from last years one (still no idea where it is?!) and a few other small sheets that I could potentially use. I've also stuck one of the EC pen holders I've had for a year to it, so I'll always have a pen on hand. I'll start carrying this around when July rolls around, so it's always on hand.

Do you use any Erin Condren products, or are a planner yourself? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

Finding The Right Shapewear!*

First off, what is shape wear? I found a load of different ways to explain this online, so I'll try and summarise this for you if you've no idea what it is! Shape wear is a clothing item - predominately an undergarment, designed to slightly alter the person's body shape and dimensions, to achieve what some view as a more 'fashionable and svelte figure'. The function of a shape wear is not to necessarily enhance a bodily feature, but to make it look more 'clean lined' and to boost the wearer's confidence.

The right shape wear can really help with certain outfits, and can totally boost your confidence! I've worn a few in my younger days, and even now I have a couple stashed away for nice dresses when I go out. With the right fit of shape wear, such as the products you can find at Shapellx shapewear, you can get that silhouette that you want or need for that particular outfit! I love shape wear as I'm more of a curvy girl, so they help streamline my looks, and make me feel more confident when I'm out and about. It can help smooth any lumps and bumps that I'm self conscious about, and means I can focus on enjoying my time out, and not feeling awkward wearing my outfits.

Something that would be super for me is the best shapewear for tummy and waist that they offer on their website. As this is my 'problem' area, these are great for me. There is a wide variety of designs and colours, so you can find the perfect style for you to 'attack' the area that you wish to shape into that svelte figure!

Or if you just want to try and get a more sculpted look for your tummy, you have the option of a waist trainer for women. These have been seen a lot since Kim Kardashian started promoting them, and I actually owned one for a while which worked wonders for me! Since lost it, so I think it's time I find a new one!

Do you wear shape wear at all, and if you do, how does it make you feel? And is there any particular outfit you will always wear something like shape wear with? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

Bored With The Internet? Find The Right Sites!*

The online world seems endless, doesn’t it? There’s so many things to do, so many websites to look up, so many tweets and statuses to like and comment on, etc. All in all, the internet has revolutionised the way we live, and for many people, there would be no entertainment in their lives without it.

However, the internet can get boring, and it can seem like you see the same stuff day in and day out. What do you? Well, if you’re getting bored with what you’re doing online, and you fancy making a change and finding your passion for the online world again, make sure you keep the suggestions below in mind.

Put Something Else on Your Blog

If you’ve got a blog, it might be time to start a new series! It might be time to get your writing prowess out and show the world just how entertaining and/or informative your words can be. Even just the challenge of finding the right way to word things, and making sure you’ve backed yourself up and done your research, can take you the entirety of an afternoon at least!

And if you don’t have a blog, now might be a good time to start one! You could even base it around boredom and how to combat it - wouldn’t that be a great niche to work yourself into?

Play Something

Gaming is something we very much think of in modern terms; video games have come along to change the way we interact with media, and you can even make money off of a gaming career! If you’re not much of a gamer, the internet can be a great way to acclimate yourself to the scene.

Because the internet has a lot of gaming platforms for you to make use of - even just flash games (despite how they may be disappearing soon…) can fill a good couple of hours. You could even try out something like Wolf Moon Rising for a bit more risk in your gaming moments; there’s nothing like a big win when actual money is involved.

Find a Good Video Series

And finally, why not make good use of all those streaming platforms? There’s Youtube, with its endless amount of videos, and there’s platforms like Twitch if you fancy watching someone in real time. We all love turning on the TV and tuning into a show we love, and you can get a similar feeling out of using online platforms too. Because all sorts of videos and streams are out there, and getting involved in a few could net you a few new interests, or even some new friends down in the comments section!

Finding the right sites to combat boredom can seem like an impossible feat; after all, who knows if they’ll even help! But the online world is great for ensuring your boredom never lasts long, and there’s plenty to do, as long as you search for something new and get involved.
