Monthly Favourites #24 - April

Another month is over already! Where is 2017 going?? So much of my month has been spent at work, but I've got a few days off this week, so going to try and have fun with it. Now it's time to dive into my faves of the month!

Song
This song has only been out since the 10th, and I already love it. So I can't wait for the official video to be released, but for now I can just listen to it on repeated! I didn't like it that much when I first heard it, but it's grown on me over the last couple of weeks. I'm excited to see what else Harry is going to release, and hoping for some up-tempo ones soon!

Picture
My favourite picture from this month is this one from Sunday 2nd! Abbi (second right) was doing her last day at work, so this was taken when Josie (far left) came in and gave her the gifts from us all! Don't we all look so awesome in the counters uniform?? ðŸ˜‚😂
Josie, Sydnie, Tara, Abbi, Me!
TV Show
I only started this back in January with my sister for a laugh one afternoon. We got about 2 episodes into season 2 and gave up on it. In the middle of March, I decided to give it another go. Well I'm now midway through season 8 and loving it! I've become a little obsessed with the show, and honestly I'm in awe of some of these ladies makeup skills! Plus - HOW THE HELL can they dance so well in heels when I wobble even standing in mine???

Movie
I adore this movie! I love the music in it, the dancing, the story and the cast. Plus doesn't hurt that Columbus Short, the lead in the movie, follows me on Twitter! I love the final stomp off in the competition and it's honestly one of the best scenes!

Bullet Journal
This month's fave BuJu page is this one of all my workouts and the routine for them all! I hurt my knee 2 weeks ago so had to stop for a few days, but then got back into it - a lot more carefully that time around! Will update this later in the year when I've got bored of the same thing!

Hope you enjoyed these faves for April! What have you loved this month from each category? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe!

Snow White | Disney Inspired Lookbook

In May 2014 was when I first had the idea to do a set of Disney Princess inspired looks on my blog! I started off with Snow White, and then managed to do a load more for the other Princesses. As I'm off to Florida this year, I'm getting into Disney movies again, and even though I have my top 5 faves, I love Disney as a whole.

I've decided to do a little Disney Inspired Lookbook, in the run up to the holiday, soooo probably a lookbook a month at least! At the moment, all the looks are inspired by the Disney Princesses, but might add other characters later if I'm feeling it.

I've tried to find products that aren't super expensive, so the looks are semi-attainable! I'm LOVING these yellow heels for Snow White, so might treat myself to these anyway.

What part of the look is your favourite, and who is your fave Disney Princess? Let me know! I'm a Mulan and Rapunzel girl, myself! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

Fave Disney Songs

The other week I shared with you my fave Disney Movies, so today I thought I'd share my fave Disney songs with you! It's a small list, as I didn't watch a lot of Disney growing up, but these are the ones I love the most!

I love all of these songs, and usually sing out loud when the Mulan one comes on! So I'm annoyed that the live action one won't be having any singing...

What are your fave Disney songs, and do you share any of the same with me? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

Feeling Floral

You guys know I love a good BH Cosmetics product, and this one is no different. Spoiler - I like this one!

This beauty is $5.99 in the shade Bahama Bronze. The other shades available are Caribbean Coral, Honolulu Hideaway and Fiji Fun. The others are all pink tones, but this is the one that is brown toned and acts just as well as a bronzer and blusher.

It's lovely and pigmented - like a majority of other BH Cosmetics products! The lovely floral design in the pan is so pretty and it broke me to swatch this for the image! I've used this a few times over the last few weeks and the shimmer is lovely to this and doesn't make me look super tanned, but adds a nice flush of colour to my cheeks.

I adore this blusher and the design of this! Have you tried and BH Cosmetics products before, and if so, what did you think of them? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

Picture Perfect #12

Where has April gone? Can't believe we're half a month in already!! It's Cameron's birthday next week, so I've got the week off work so we can go on some adventures - not sure where to just yet though! I'm a little exhausted from work, and since Abbi has left, I've had a lot of Sunday's where I'm a little alone at work - which means by the time I'm home, I don't feel like writing long ass blog posts out!

Which means this week is a slow one, so it's perfect time for a lot at my pictures from the past month!

Picture from Josie!

I'm now ready to crawl into bed and get a good sleep and so I can start tomorrow a little more awake than usual (or I hope so at least!)

Hope you've all had a pretty nice April so far, and a good start to this year overall! What have you all been up to lately? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

52 Weeks Saving: Weeks 6-15 | Bullet Journal

One of my goals of the year, was to be a bit better with my money by spending less and saving more. In my previous 52 Weeks Saving Plan, I explained how the savings idea worked and how I was going to approach it.

So instead of the usual method, I'm going to save a random amount each week, so I can then knock some of the larger amounts out of the way now, and work down to the lower amounts through the year. I've been working backwards more than randomly, as this has worked better for me right now, due to not having any large expenditures until the summer.

I also mentioned using stickers from The Sticker Party's store on etsy! I know these are in dollars, but it's the same amounts, so ignore that! I love using stickers, and thought I could put each denomination into my bullet journal as each week goes so I can keep track of which amounts have been done.

My last post about this was back in January during week 5, where I had £210 at that time. So now we're onto week 15 and I've actually managed to keep this up so far! I've worked backwards and put away the larger numbers like I wanted, so I've built up a nice little sum straight off the bat. I've put away money each week instead of spending it on clothes, beauty. shoes, etc - as I didn't need them!

I'm still not sure what I'm going to spend my money on, but seeing as my current laptop keeps crashing, the money might be going towards that!

Week 15 Total: £578
Amount To Go: £800
Weeks Left: 39

Have you tried the 52 weeks saving challenge before? How far did you get, and how did you find it? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

Want To Get Naked?

Haha, sorry for the click bait there! No nudity on this blog!

I got the Naked 1 palette for my birthday last year, and I loved it so much that I really wanted the second one to add to the collection as well. So here is my brief review of the beauty, as I've only used it a few times out of pure fear of blemishing it.

I adore Busted, SnakeBite and Half Baked the most of all of these shades! I think I'll use all of these shades, apart from Blackout, as it's just soooo dark, and not something I think I could work with. I've found that it's all super pigmented, and doesn't take much to build up a good coverage and a bold colour. I like that it's not flaky, crumbly or too shimmery - it's just perfect. Just as good as the first palette!

You can get this from House of Fraser, Debenhams and Feel Unique!

Unlike the first palette, this is in a metal tin case and not velvet! I think they should have made this one velvet as well, as it made it feel a lot more expensive - but I'm just happy the palette is as good quality.

Have you tried this palette or anything else from Urban Decay? Let me know, as I'd love to try more of their range! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)
