Fave TV Shows Of 2017

I love TV waaaay more than I probably should - plus I found some new shows this year, that I've been captivated by. My sister lets me steal her Netflix account, so she has a lot to answer for... Here are the TV shows I've really enjoyed this year!

Daredevil & Luke Cage
Started watching this around Easter time, and managed to get this, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and then season two all done by about August! I love the characters, plus how awesome are the fight scenes?? Can't wait to see what happens with Elektra and the scary ninjas - I've not quite finished Iron Fist yet, and haven't started the Defenders!

RuPaul's Drag Race
SHANTE YOU STAY! My sister and I started this back in January with a couple of episodes of season two. It started out as a WTF are we watching... But it's become my fave show of the year. I'm now obsessed with Drag Queens, Mama Ru, Michelle Visage, and the killer lip-syncs. I'm in awe of how amazing these Queens are. From their fashion, to their makeup skills, I now want to go see a Drag show just to experience one for myself. I still firmly believe that Ginger Minj was robbed of the crown in season 7, Bianca is my fave winner, and Alyssa Edwards is my QUEEN.

The Flash
This was also a fave from last year, and it's made the list again. It's amazing. I'm in love with Cisco, and this season has been great so far. Plus getting to see how all the characters have grown since the last season has been fab. I loved the massive Earth X crossover with Arrow, Supergirl and Legends - so good!

Chicago PD
I love Chicago Fire/Med as well, but Chicago PD has stepped it up this year. The story lines have been beyond incredible, and I've been on the edge of my seat. I'm still not over Erin leaving, but I'm enjoying the new faces in Intelligence. I've also got a huge crush on Atwater 💖

How To Get Away With Murder
This show just keeps getting more gripping. At the start of the year we found out it was Wes who was killed in the house explosion, and then we see Annalise's decent into alcoholism. The how story arc of her drinking has been handled really well so far, but I think it won't be long until it all falls apart for her again. I have to say, Viola Davis is such a fantastic actor. I could literally watch her for hours!

The Gifted
This has been a show I've been watching with M each week, and the pair of us love it. Sometimes we're a couple of episodes behind, but we then get to see two in a row. Bonus! I've loved the characters through this so far, and can't wait to see how the rest of the season pans out.

South Park
Another new show of this year! M has been a fan of this for years, so he wanted to show me some episodes. I'm hooked. It's so rude and on topic of a lot of what is going on in the world, while being funny with - in a sweary cartoon way. I'm still laughing at Cartman's '10 Dorra' outrage during the Cock Magic episode, and the Sons of Witches episode was so funny!

There are at least another 20+ shows that I've watched this year, but these are the ones I've really got into this year. What TV shows have you been loving in 2017? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

Orlando Holiday Diary: Day 4 - Magic Kingdom!

Ahh the day we were waiting for! As we were on a 17 day holiday, but the Disney tickets are only 14 days, we had to pick any Disney parks a few days into the holiday.

We actually all slept okay the night before, so we were up and ready for Magic Kingdom pretty early! We elected to take the Ferryboat, instead of the Monorail, and it was a good choice as there was only the three of us, and about five others on the boat that morning. Granted the Monorail leaves and arrives a little quicker than the boat, but the journey times are the same length - plus this was we got to see the castle from a distance and get some good pictures of it.

We picked up a 'First Time' badge for my Dad and Sister, and I picked up a 'Happy Birthday' badge, as it was BIRTHDAY WEEK! We managed to get on a lot of rides within the first hour of park opening. We ate at the Starlight Cafe in Tomorrowland, and then headed to the other parts of the park, before catching some of the Festival of Fantasy parade in Adventureland!

You can check out the pictures of the day below, or scroll to the end to watch the vlog!

Hope you enjoyed this little look at the fourth day of my awesome holiday! Can't wait to share with you the rest of the trip. If you've been to Florida, or want to go, what's something you'd like to do there? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

My Fave Xmas Songs

Christmas is coming!! I'm only just starting to get into the festive spirit, but with working in retail at this time of year, I'll not get excited until my Christmas Eve shift is over. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean I'm not loving the Christmas music that is filling the shop during the day! Here are my top 10 fave Christmas songs.

They're all linked to a video, so you can enjoy them yourselves!

What are your fave Christmas songs? Let me know!  I have a lot more than this, but these are the top 10! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

Christmas Wishlist!

Oh hey there December! You rolled up on us quickly, didn't you!? Honestly, where has this year gone? It feels like just days ago that we were packing up the decorations... I know work is about to get super busy and manic, so I'm bracing for the mad shoppers to start this week!

I've had a few people ask me what I'd like for Christmas, so instead of having to repeat myself, here's a little blog post for them to look at instead!

I'm majorly in love with the Harry Potter set - I think it's amazing! What are you hoping to get from Santa this year? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

Fave Disney World Attractions

The Disney World theme parks - Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot - are such amazing parks that just seem to feel magical. Though I'm not a huge Disney fangirl, I still love the franchise and the movies, so I was beyond excited for these parks.

The rides here are incredible, and I was able to get my camera onto about 90% of them - unlike at the Universal parks. I didn't get pictures of all the rides I loved, but I'm already wanting to go back so I can ride them again! Sadly, we couldn't go on all the rides, or see all the shows. This was mainly due to fast passes, not enough time at the parks, or times we just got so darn hot, that we had to call it a day! But here are the ones I loved!

Magic Kingdom
  1. Jungle Cruise
  2. Pirates of the Caribbean
  3. Splash Mountain (even though this was closed when we went, I've loved it all the other times I've gone!)
  4. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
  5. Haunted Mansion
  6. Under the Sea - The Journey of the Little Mermaid
  7. It's a Small World
  8. Monsters Inc Laugh Floor
  9. Space Mountain
  10. Transit Authority PeopleMover
  11. Carousel of Progress
  12. Fairytale Hall - Meet Rapunzel
  13. Meet Mickey Mouse!
The Carousel of Progress holds a special place in my heart, as it's one I loved when I first went to MK. This was the first time I've gone on the Haunted Mansion, or seen Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, and I loved both of them!

  1. Mission: Space
  2. Test Track
  3. Living with the Land
  4. Journey into Imagination with Figment
  5. The Seas with Nemo and Friends
  6. Reflections of China
  7. Turtle Talk with Crush
  8. Japan Pavilion
I have to say that Space Ship Earth was a little too boring for me, although a good ride, I could have fallen asleep! Test Track was AMAZING, and we spent over an hour in the Chevrolet center after the ride, which was a fun bonus to the day. Figment was a fun ride, although it seemed as if no-one was heading towards it!

Animal Kingdom
  1. Na'vi River Journey
  2. Festival of the Lion King
  3. Kilimanjaro Safaris
  4. Kali River Rapids
  5. Expedition Everest - Legends of the Forbidden Mountain
  6. Finding Nemo - The Musical
  8. Primeval Whirl
I tried for ages to get the Flight of Passage fast passes, but couldn't - and both days we went to AK, the queue was between 4-5 hours each time, so we gave that a hard pass! Na'vi River Journey was nice and relaxing, and thankful we had a fast pass, as it was usually a 2-3 hour wait at all times! The Safari and Everest were my two fave attractions at the parks.

Hollywood Studios
  1. Indiana Jones: Epic Stunt Spectacular
  2. Star Tours - The Adventure Continues
  3. Toy Story Mania
  4. Meet Star Lord & Baby Groot!
  5. Star Wars Launch Bay - Meet BB8, Chewbacca & Kylo Ren
  6. Rock n Rollercoaster Starring Aerosmith
  7. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
  8. Fantasmic!
This is my fave Disney Park, so I wanted to put down EVERYTHING, but I restrained myself! Toy Story Mania has to be one of the best rides in Disney World - which explains the long wait times! I really loved Rock n Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror, plus Fantasmic was so much to watch in the evening.

What are your fave attractions in Disney World? Let me know! I would have put literally everything in these lists, but as I said above, we couldn't go on everything! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)
