Summer Giveaway! - UK Only!

Hello everyone!

So a few weeks ago I hit 350 bloglovin followers and wanted to do some sort of giveaway as a thank you. So at last, I've not gathered a little bundle of goodies to give away to one lucky blog reader! I've so far only ever done MAC giveaways, but as it is summer time here in the UK at last, I thought a little bundle would be better - I've even included some sweets! I would really love a reader of my blog to win this, rather than someone who has stumbled upon this blog by accident, as my readers mean a lot to me!

NOTE: Due to the postage charge to send this via the mail, this giveaway is only open to the UK.

What you will get:
1 x Ciate Cavier (purple)
1 x Urban Therapy Twisted Sista Curl Spray
1 x Olay Smoothing Face Scrub
1 x Argan Oil, Hydrating Hair Mask
1 x Simple Hand Cream
1 x Strawberry Flyers

All items are brand new, unused and unopened. This giveaway is for UK RESIDENTS ONLY. All you need to do is follow the instructions below to get entries into the giveaway! You will need to follow me on twitter and bloglovin before you can see the other options, as well as leaving a contact email for me to use if you win! The winner will be chosen via the Rafflecopter's randomizer. The giveaway will run until August 22nd. Good luck and have a great day!

Little disclaimer: No this isn't an original idea and I know a lot of people do this. I am not trying to copy anyone in particular, I just like the posts I have seen!

Week Ten:

Ring | Necklace | Shoes | Headband | Dress

Hope that you like this installment of my Disney Makeovers! Will be uploading one of these each week :) Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

AliExpress Haul #1

Hello everyone!

Today is a little stationary haul of some goodies I bought from AliExpress! I am obsessed with this site and have found some really cute stationary bits and bobs since I began searching the site. I am blaming RaspberryKiss for this as I saw a couple of her blog posts about the site and this is the second batch of goodies I've got. The first one wasn't that interesting, but this one is a variety of a dozen things.

The site is all in USD and once that was converted into GBP, this whole haul came to less that £8. I bought one of everything that I liked, and will then buy more if I like them (which I totes do!) As these are shipped by China Mail, it takes about 12 days to reach me, which I don't mind waiting!

I bought all of this from the same seller and you have to have a minimum spend of $10. Also, you don't get to chose the designs that you get. Each item comes in a variety, and not always quite like in the images, so double check the product descriptions before buying. Have you bought anything off AliExpress and did you like the service? It's a bit like Ebay! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

MAC Eyeshadow in Gleam | Beauty

Hello everyone!

A while ago I won a giveaway over on Stacey's blog, Beautiful Solutions! I chose to have an eyeshadow as my 'prize' and I chose the shade of Gleam from the MAC site. This is the first MAC product I've ever owned and I think it's such a nice colour, and it is really good quality.

It is a beautiful rose/pink colour and has a nice golden shimmer to it! I love that this is a very pigmented colour as well, and it is also a nice natural colour once blended onto the eyelids, so it looks really nice! I wouldn't usually buy an eyeshadow for £13, but now I have tried this one, I am tempted to purchase some myself!

Thank you Stacey! Please go and check out her blog as it is one of my favorites for beauty :) Have you tried this colour or recommend any from MAC that you like yourself? Hope you all have a great day and keep safe :)

Hastings With Jodie | Life

Hello everyone!

Today is a little blog on my mini day out with my bestie Jodie! If you follow me on Instagram, then you will have seen some of what I got up to already! It was unbelievably hot, and a little crowded - even for a Wednesday at 11am. So here are some pictures of what we got up to!

A little OOTD to start off with! Top is from Primark at £4, Shorts are £16 from Peacocks and the shoes were £6 from Matalan. My sunglasses were a freebie with Cosmo last month! To top it all off, I wore a lot of suncream!

My lunch!
Jodie's lunch
A nice refreshing drink! Banana milkshake for Jodie and a water for me

We started off with a little walk from the car park and past the mini gold and sea life center until we reach a fish and chip shop for lunch. The place was called 'Old Town Fish Bar' and it was delicious! All together our lunch was less than £12, which is pretty decent for how much food we were both given.

Then we spent some time and a bit of money in the Old Town Arcade next to the fish and chip shop. Had a go at getting a Minion keyring, but that availed to nothing! We did however, both get a 'Me to You' bear and a friendship key ring out of another machine! Was totally worth the £'s we put in!

Had some delicious doughnuts | Walked under this little bridge with the Hastings Old Town picture painted on it | Walked past the mini golf which was quite busy! | Just a casual windy beach selfie!

Finally we walked along the pebbled beach to go back to the car. My shoes were not a good choice here, as I picked up half the beach in my pumps! The top right picture is of the cliff cable car, which wasn't running... as far as I know it's been out of service for some time!

After getting back in the car we had an hour's drive home after getting stuck behind numerous lorries and tractors. We (well Jodie) then had a little siesta nap before we had dinner at her place and then I went home! I had such a nice day and was nice to be with my friend all day. I can now report that I have slight sunburn on my back and a little on my head, but nothing to severe!

Hope you liked this little post, and let me know if you've been anywhere nice in this weather recently. Hope you are having a great day and keep safe :)

Ebay Buys #3

Hello everyone!

The other day my ever faithful cream purse from Primark finally broke. I've had it for about 4 years, so it was on it's last legs as the clasp finally broke while at work, and the zipper was jammed. I needed something similar to it as I loved the design. I like purses that have a clasp or a popper on them with a flap, which I prefer to a zipped purse.

I managed to find this really good purse from LYDC off of Ebay for £9.99. It is also available in red, cream or black. I had to choose the purple one as it is one of my favourite colours!

It arrived in a really nice box, along with a dust cover to keep it pristine. It has a brown bow feature on it along with the LYDC logo, and I think this is such a nice purse. It has 8 card slots, 2 pockets for whatever you like and a zipped pocket for your loose change to be stored in. It has a popper fastener, so I can get into it quickly!

I really like this and I know it will last me a while as it is such  nice quality. Again, I am tempted to get this in the cream one as this is perfect! What sort of purses do you prefer? Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

Simple Oil Balancing Exfoliating Wash Review | Beauty

Hello everyone!

I am currently on a spending ban, but I still have products to review which I bought before the ban began! Simple are one of my favourite brands for skin care as I've never had a problem with anything I have tried from them - which has been a lot! I saw this in Morrisons the other day for £3.90 and decided to give it a try and see if it would be better than my Clean & Clear one.

This product is scentless (much like most of their products), which I something I liked about it straight away. The product is to help with the natural oil balance in your skin, so this is perfect for someone like me who can sometime get oily skin.

It is a good product, but it wish it was more grainy and like a scrub. I noticed the day after using this that my skin was less oily than usually, but wasn't the smoothness I like it after using a scrub. There is a little bit of a scrub in this, but not enough to get the results I was hoping for. I do like this for cleaning the skin and helping with the oil balance, but I don't think I would re-purchase it when it runs out.

Have you tried this or anything similar? Hope you are having a great day and keep safe :)

Ebay Buys #2

Hello everyone!

Another purchase from the land of bargains! This time I found four little bag/purses for 99p each! These were from Hong Kong, so I've waited for about 3 weeks to get these. All four together came to £3.98 and that was with free postage and packaging! I love getting little things from Hong Kong as their delivery services are amazing. These are fake leather and are the perfect Evening Bag if you don't have a lot of things to take out with you!

I had to get these four from their range. Each one will fit a phone (preferably an iPhone) into the largest zipped pocket, and the smaller one at the front just fits my ID and debit card into, along with loose change! I bought them for just taking along to the shop instead of a huge handbag, when this fits my essentials in, so all I need to do is carry my keys separately.

I fell straight for the teal and purple ones as they are my favourite colours, but I had to get the black one as that will go with anything, and the red is for when I am dressed in one colour, so this will pop! Do you like buying items from other countries, or do you prefer items within? Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

Nivea Gentle Exfoliating Scrub Review | Beauty

Hello everyone!

I am currently on a spending ban, but I still have products to review which I bought before the ban began! One of my latest pick up was this Nivea Gentle Exfoliating Scrub. I bought this for £4.07, which I think is a pretty good bargain for Nivea! I've only used it a couple of times and I really like it!

The things I look for in a face scrub - bursting beads (the grainy texture) and that it isn't like a water consistency. This has two types of bursting beads. The big ones seem to be the ones with the wash inside them and then there are smaller ones which make up the product itself that make it just perfect for me. After using it, my face felt so much softer and smoother, so very happy with the results.

As it says to only use this 2-3 times a week, I'll use this alongside my old Clean & Clear one that has almost ran out. Have you tried this product? Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

Wear Eponymous

Hello everyone!

So a new brand called Wear Eponymous (or W.E) are a relatively new fashion brand which I discovered after the company tweeted me a few weeks ago. After have a look on their website I ended up buying myself a little something, in the form of a black clutch bag! I've been after a black clutch for ages and this has been perfect so far!

It arrived wrapped up like a gift, which made it all the more fun getting into! This is no longer available on the website, but you can find similar ones here. This was £9.99 but I got a 10% discount offer when I first viewed the site, so that was taken off the total. The clutch has a quilted design and the inside is spacious and has a little pocket that was just big enough for my phone to fit in! The main thing I am happy about is that this is big enough to store my Epipen inside, which is an essential!

Also with the package, came this little freebie! I was expecting this at all and it made a nice touch from the company. The bangles are light green, white and gold. Definitely that little something extra that makes me want to shop with them again.

Don't forget to check their website out and you can also follow on twitter @WearEponymous. Have you heard of W.E before and would you buy from them? Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)
